A Small Lesson… by Moses Kollie Garzeawu

Let us all as young people know that public service is about service and maintaining your community you come from. Keep your friends around always (professional, casual or family).

These periods have limitations; either you are replace or your tenure come to an end. After these occurrences you will return to the same community and people you know.

In a case in point with the picture posted below; I am not angry or sad that we had to leave the State Broadcaster (Liberia Broadcasting System) even thought serving in a middle manger position but what hurt most was the branding we received from our friends turn Bosses. That was too way off.

But I also think those brandings which allowed some of us to leave did pave the way for greater things in our professional Lives.

But the most hurtful part was the drop in quality and ethical standards at the State Broadcaster. For over a decade we all fought to bring the institution up to speed with professionalism but you can agree with me they all just faded in a very short period.

It is our hope that the LBS will again return to a place for all not for few and political interest.

Finally I want to welcome my colleagues to where we all belong in the private space….
